ONE-DAY TRAINING FOR PRACTITIONERS & THERAPISTS WORKING WITH THE BODY
Fascia & Organs in the Element of Water
For aquatic therapists, bodyworkers, osteopaths, and professionals integrating water into their practice
Overview
This one-day immersion introduces practitioners from diverse body-based disciplines to the unique possibilities of working with fascia and organs in warm water.
Rather than teaching a specific aquatic modality, the training focuses on how the aquatic environment changes touch, perception, and therapeutic interaction, and how participants can integrate these principles into their existing practice.
Ideal for aquatic practitioners, osteopaths, somatic therapists, and bodyworkers looking to deepen their somatic understanding and enrich their approach through the qualities of water.
⸻
Training Intentions
• Explore how fascia and organs respond differently in water
• Understand the principles that allow you to adapt land-based techniques to the aquatic environment
• Develop somatic sensitivity, presence, and attuned listening in water
• Learn simple, transferable principles that enhance any therapeutic modality
• Experience how buoyancy, warmth, and fluid dynamics support fascial and visceral work
⸻
Daily Structure (6 Hours)
Session 1 (3 hours): Fascia in Water
Content
• Fascia basics: fluidity, tensegrity, continuity
• How water affects fascial tone and movement
• Nervous system regulation in warm water
• Somatic touch principles and whole-body fascial listening
Practice
• Guided somatic orientation
• Feeling fascial vectors, spirals, and continuity
• Adapting familiar techniques to aquatic conditions
• Partner exercises to sense density, elongation, unwinding
⸻
Session 2 (3 hours): Organs in Water
Content
• Introduction to visceral anatomy and somatic organ principles
• How gravity reduction and warmth support organ work
• Organ–fascia relationship in a fluid medium
• Safety, presence, depth perception
Practice
• Embodied exploration of organ spaces
• Partner work: supporting organ rhythm and weight in buoyancy
• Using multidirectional support to refine touch
• Integrating organ awareness into aquatic or land-based modalities
⸻
Who This Is For
• Aquatic bodyworkers
• Osteopaths & physiotherapists
• Somatic practitioners & movement therapists
• Bodyworkers seeking to broaden their therapeutic tools
• Practitioners wishing to integrate water into their work or deepen their somatic understanding
⸻
What Participants Gain
• Principles for working with fascia and organs in water
• Somatic awareness skills applicable to any modality
• Enhanced sensitivity, presence, and fluid touch
• Practical tools to immediately enrich therapeutic practice
